FACTS WHAT DOES CADENCY DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Why? Financial companies choose how they share your personal information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.
What? The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include:
  • Contact information of the business entity and its personnel who interact with us, such as name, job title, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Profile information, such as username and password an individual may establish on one of our websites along with any other information an individual may enter into their account profile.
  • Demographic details, such as date of birth, country of citizenship and/or country of residence.
  • Information about an individuals’ affiliation with a legal entity, including an individual’s role, and whether they are a beneficial owner or authorized signatory.
  • Photographs, video footage, audio recordings, or written statements provided or captured during a Cadency event or when giving a testimonial.
  • Details of the individual’s consent to and release of media and image rights to Cadency.
  • Government-issued identification numbers (to the extent permitted under applicable law), such as a national identification number (e.g., a Social Security Number, tax identification number, or passport number), state or local identification number (e.g., a Driver’s License or other government-issued identification number), and a copy of your government-issued identification card.
  • Feedback and correspondence, such as information you provide when you request information from us, receive customer support, or otherwise correspond with us, including by interacting with our pages on social networking online sites or services.
  • Financial account information, such as payment card or bank account details.
  • Information about merchants, such as merchant name, merchant ID and category code, merchant location where a transaction occurred, and information about transactions processed by the merchant, including transaction volume, velocity, amounts, types of goods or services sold, and chargeback ratios.
  • Information related to the use of our products or services, such as account information, spending thresholds, spending activity and patterns, and information about the transactions we process.
  • Precise geolocation information if you authorize our mobile application to access your location.
  • Marketing information, such as your preferences for receiving marketing communications and details about how you engage with our marketing communications.
  • Other information supplied by job applicants, such as professional credentials and skills, educational and work history, and other information of the type included on a resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Social Security number/Social Insurance number and income.
  • Account balances and account transactions.
  • Payment history and transaction history.
When you are no longer our customer, we continue to share your information as described in this notice.
How? All financial companies need to share customers’ personal information to run their everyday business. In the section below, we list the reasons financial companies can share their customers’ personal information; the reasons Cadency chooses to share; and whether you can limit this sharing.

How does Cadency protect my personal information? To safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure, we employ reasonable security measures. These measures encompass physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including secure computer systems, protected files, and secure facilities. Additionally, we restrict access to personal information, permitting only employees, agents, and representatives with a legitimate need to know.Despite our proactive efforts, it’s important to acknowledge that third parties may attempt to unlawfully intercept or access your transmissions to us. There is also the risk of deceptive practices, where individuals may falsely claim to represent Cadency or mislead you about our services. To mitigate such risks, exercise caution and sound judgment when using Internet or mobile phone technologies.
How does Cadency collect my personal information? We collect your personal information, for example, when you
  • Subscribe to a Cadency product;
  • As a customer, sign up or login to Cadency’s customer portal to interact with an invoicing party;
  • use your credit or debit card;
  • submit information to us on application forms or other means;
  • use our applications (e.g. to transact or manage your accounts); and/or
  • remit a payment transaction, e.g., SWIFT.
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only
  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness;
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you;
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you.
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
